The Northern Virginia Regional Commission (NVRC) is the official planning district for the region. Its 13 localities comprise more than 2.5 million residents with a GDP of $302 Billion (2023). This web site was created to provide one stop shopping for residents and business owners who want to reduce their energy use to help protect the environment and to save money.
